iPhone 12 went into the river and wasn't sealed properly resulting in severe water damage. Phone appeared completely fried. Multiple technicians confirmed it was toast. So, I reached out to Desert Data Recovery and got hold of Kaylynn and Nick. They got to the bottom of it very quickly and attentively. They worked with me the whole time keeping me updated and problem solving together until all data could be recovered. Also, they were able to complete the job under a very tight time crunch. I was amazed they were able to get all the data back, ahead of schedule, and systematically solved every problem. The price was reasonable and transparent given the situation. With all the priceless data back, it was completely worth it. Y'all went above and beyond. Very pleased I went with Desert Data Recovery. Thank you, Nick and Kaylynn, y'all are life savers!
Excellent experience with Desert Data Recovery. Their professionalism and communication are top-notch. I was particularly impressed by the detailed progress reports and the thorough diagnostics they provided throughout the process. They are honest, transparent, and keep you informed every step of the way. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a reliable and expert data recovery team.
I stream music from a QNAP NAS. The NAS contains in excess of 14 terabytes of music. Much of this music is high resolution 192/24 WAV files including vinyl, DVDA and SACD. My NAS failed and I took it to Nick at Desert Data Recovery. In the process, he discovered that the drives and the NAS itself needed to be replaced. Fortunately, he was able to recover all of the data. After doing this, he was able to restore the system and I now have a new NAS, new drives and a backup system that he recommended to protect from this occurring in the future. I use Roon as my operating system. In addition to the recovery, he programmed the QNAP to work optimally for my use with Roon. This music has significant value. Achieving a successful recovery and replacement was very important to me. The process took some time, and Nick was extremely communicative throughout. He explained everything that needed to happen and was open to my questions. I highly recommend Nick and Desert Data Recovery.
My case was complex and I was very nervous about losing data. It took a while to get the job done but I liked Kaylynn welcoming me and introducing me to the whole process and Nick getting the job done. Shipping the project back and forth was seamless and convenient. Since they have multiple locations I was able to drop off and pick up my project at the location nearest to me.
I had an external hard drive that was accidently dropped and thus no longer recognized by Windows. This drive contained crucial data that should have been backed up, but was not. Based on Reddit comments and reviews, we reached out to Desert Data Recovery and sent the drive to them. The entire process took several days based on the issue they found and the repair required the use of their clean room, but we were kept up to date every single day of what had been done and where they were in the process. Questions I had were answered promptly, succinctly, and in a positive, friendly manner. I've never had to use a data recovery service but this experience, along with their very reasonable fees will bring me back should I ever need them again! Extremely satisfied!!
I have had two excellent experiences at Desert Data! My mom's Galaxy Z Fold 3 crashed during an update and became stuck in recovery mode. Desert Data was able to kick it out of recovery although I was warned this could happen again, which it did. I took it back and Kaylynn and her team were able to get it kicked out of recovery again. My mom had a new phone this time, and Kaylynn was extremely helpful in making sure that all of my mom's info was transferred to her new phone. Prior to this I also spoke on the phone with Chris, who was equally helpful and very kind in taking the time to listen to and answer my questions. I am very thankful to Kaylynn and her team! They are very knowledgeable. Another big thing for me is that they are trustworthy. They take care of your device and data no matter what is involved or the cost. I have never been in a situation like this before but I felt very comfortable leaving this phone in their care. They are also very good about communicating with you during the process — I got an email with pictures showing how the phone had progressed. Their office is clean and welcoming and they are very friendly, which is especially nice considering anything to do with data can be very stressful (at least for me!). You should definitely bring your device here!!!
SUPER HONEST!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! I had a Seagate 8 TB hard drive hub that was running, fell off my table headfirst onto the floor, and landed on the front connectors of my hard drive. It jammed the USB A remote plug for my wireless mouse into the front of the hard drive. After I picked up the drive and tried to plug it into my computer, the drive would not mount. I thought all was lost, so I sent it over to Desert Data Recovery. I got a call the next day from a very nice woman, Kaylynn Ehlers. She explained that they would get to it after the weekend. They got back to me on Monday and had taken the drive apart and run some tests — they said that although they could get the drive to mount once they removed it from the case, they could not guarantee the integrity of the data. Kaylynn quoted me a very reasonable price for a full recovery, but I opted to try recovering it myself since the drive could mount, and was actually successful. I really want to thank Kaylynn Ehlers for her honesty and for helping me without a cost. They charge nothing upfront for an estimate with some analysis — a lot of companies do charge an up-front fee. And you don't have to send out your drive; you can drop it off locally, either in Mesa or in Peoria. Thank you again, Kaylynn and Desert Data Recovery.
A failing drive often warns you before it dies. The longer a damaged drive runs, the more data you can lose. Power it down and let the lab take it from here.
